Make certain you have a strong Internet connection when you download the installer and when running it. There could be dozens more MIA.Ĭonsidering that this is, frankly, unheard of post-dialup Internet days, it would be safer to delete the app and the downloaded installer (if you had downloaded it instead of using an auto-updater.) At that point, re-download the installer and see if that works. You are only getting an error on the first file it noticed was missing. Do not assume it is the only file missing. If the updater isn't finding the file, it means that somehow it got skipped between initiating the download and starting the update process.
